Our very own sweep Peter has been interviewed by a leading industry magazine about his work at Mr Soot.
The two-page article focuses on the benefits of being an employed chimney sweep, rather than a one-person band.
The piece appears in the latest edition of Sweep Stuff magazine, which is distributed by the Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps.
Peter is currently going through the Mr Soot Training Academy Programme – a bespoke career pathway for Mr Soot employees.
Mr Soot owner and founder David said: “The article has done wonders for helping people understand that you don’t have to set up on your own to have a career in chimney sweeping.
“As Peter points out in his interview, there’s much more to running a chimney sweeping business than merely sweeping chimneys.
“At Mr Soot, we have the infrastructure in place to not only employ local people coming into the industry, but give them a definitive and clear career pathway.
